I just got back from our first night of VBS and had a great time. Since I have been out of the classroom for a year, it was nice to be with kids again and do the "teacher" thing. We (Tiah and I) had 14 4th graders in our group tonight--big group. Chris and I have really enjoyed our church family and are excited about Gateway.
Speaking of families, we had a great time visiting with my parents and Grandma Johnson. They had a great time watching Alex ham-it-up. Alex loves being the center of attention and has developed a screaming laugh. It is quite funny.
Chris and I have been busy working on projects around the house and apts. They never seem to end! One day, I'm sure the big projects will be done and we can just focus on small projects. Bye!
